NOTICE

EARLY VOTING SCHEDULE

The Macoupin County Clerk’s Office will be open on Saturday, February 2, 2008 for absentee voting from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. The County Clerk’s Office is located on the main floor of the Courthouse in Carlinville.

Pursuant to Article 19A of the Illinois Election Code, Early Voting for the General Election for all Macoupin County Precincts will be conducted at the Office of the Macoupin County Clerk at the courthouse at 201 East Main in Carlinville beginning Monday, January 14, 2008 through Thursday, January 31, 2008 on week days from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Any voter validly registered to vote in Macoupin County may vote during the early voting period after showing a photo identification card. Any vote cast is final, and may not be revoked, and the voter is not eligible to cast a vote on Election Day.
